Low-voltage arc quench is one of the most processes for a successful power interruption in circuit breakers. Typical breakers are designed to switch off fault current within half cycle, less than 10 milliseconds, which requires an efficient and thus poses great challenges interruption. Apart from using electronics, very expensive low capacity, classical that uses stack steel plates split fault-current into many sub-arcs still dominant both industry residential installations.
